North Wales - Military adventure activities

North Wales Active is the only company in North Wales to offer adventure activities every day.

Why North Wales Active... Some of our staff are Ex - Military so we understand the need for adventure activities within the armed forces, we have also been working with the Military for over 20 years delivering the activities we advertise.

We are based 5 Minutes from Capel Curig training camp in Betws Y Coed or 35 Minutes from Indiefatigable training camp Anglesey. Our activities take place all over Snowdonia and Angelsey, North Wales.

We offer adventure activities with your own personal experienced and qualified instructor, meaning we dont mix groups. We use quality equiptment and of course the best locations for each activity possible.

Gorge Scrambling

This is Scrambling, swimming, jumping and squeezing your way up the gorge with your own privateexperienced and qualified instructor.

Start times: 10.00 or 13.00

Time: 2 - 3 hours depending on group size and ability

Gorge scramble & Big abseil

Gorge: This is Scrambling, swimming, jumping and squeezing your way up the gorge and after a short break do our 90ft Abseil again all with your own private instructor. As this can take a few hours please bring some food and drink with you.

Abseil: is located 15 - 20 minutes from the gorge and itsna big one.

Start times: 10.00 or 13.00.

Time: 3.5 - 5 Hours depending on group size and ability

Gorge scramble & Rock climbing

Gorge: This is gorge fun followed by a rock climbing session with your own private Instructor. As this is an all day adventure please bring food and drink with you.

Climbing: Can be 10 - 25 minutes from the gorge location.

Canyon Extreme with abseil

Canyon extreme with Abseil is a great adventure down quite a remote Canyon in the heart of Snowdonia. All with a private instructor.

The Canyon Extreme is a great adventure in the heart of Snowdonia. Included is the zip line all with a private instructor.

Canyon Extreme & Climbing

The Canyon Extreme & Rock Climbing package is a full day of 2 adrenaline activities all with a private instructor. The rock climbing session is after a quick lunch break so maybe bring some food and drink with you.

Climbing: can be a 15 - 25 minute drive from the Canyon location.

Start times: 10.00am.

Time: 6 - 7 Hours depending on group size and ability.

Coasteering

This is pure fun. Swimming, jumping, squeezing and climbing your way round one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and if your lucky taking in some wildlife around the coastline.

Start times: 10.00am or 13.00.

Time: 2 - 3 Hours depending on group size and ability

Coasteering Extension

This is Swimming, jumping, squeezing and climbing your way round one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and then after a quick break do our Big Abseil. As this can take a few hours please bring some food and drink with you.

Abseil: is a 10 minute drive from the coasteering location.

Start times: 10.00am or 13.00.

Time: 3.5 - 5 Hours depending on group size and ability.

Coasteering & Rock climbing

This is Swimming, jumping, squeezing and climbing your way round one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world then after a quick break a rock climbing session with your own private Instructor. As this is an all day adventure please bring some food and drink with you.

Canyon Adventure

Canyon X is our most intimidating canyon and due to the nature of the canyon You must be relatively fit and confident to book. Some big jumps and Abseils form this activity which is in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales.

Start times: 10.00am or 13.30.

Time: 3 - 4 Hours.

Cost

10 people + £50 p.p

Canyon Adventure & Climbing

The second activity is less than half price so If you book this activity deal the Rock climbing is less than half price.

Canyon X: in the morning then after a quick lunch break a personal Rock climbing session about 5 minutes drive up the road. You have to be relatively fit and confident to book this activity. Please bring some food and drink if you book this full day of adventure.

Coasteering & Big abseil

This is Swimming, jumping, squeezing and climbing your way round one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and then after a quick break do our Big Abseil. As this can take a few hours please bring some food and drink with you.

Raft building

Raft building is a great team exercise. This is normally booked in conjunction with another activity.

Kayaking

Kayaking can be done on the sea after the Coasteering activity or with a team building session at the Lake.

Team building

Team building is done right next to a beautiful Lake (Llyn) in Snowdonia. This can be booked alone or in partnership with another close activity like our Big abseil, Gorge or Kayaking.
