Canyon Extreme - Level 2

Our Canyon Exteme season starts the 1st April - 1st October.

What is Canyoning... Canyoning is scrambling, climbing, abseiling, rock hopping, jumping in to water and swimming your way down a canyon. This can be physically demanding depending on the canyon and weather.

The last year was a really strange year for us, after having most of our bookings cancelled and with little idea what was going to happen we suddenly in July became hugely busy with bookings and we were happy to say all our hard work paid off recieving a Travelers choice badge award from Trip avisor. Lets hope for a better 2021.

Canyon Extreme prices and information

Canyon with Abseil

Option 1

Canyon Abseil is a great adventure down quite a remote Canyon in the heart of Snowdonia.

Start times: 10.00am or 13.30

Time: 3 - 4 Hours depending on group size and ability.

Age: 10 +

We do private or mixed groups -

For private groups your group will have an Instructor to yourself. For mixed groups you will be mixed in with other people on your activity session.

Cost - Private Groups

1 - 3 People £175 total.

4 people+ £55 p.p

Cost - Mixed Groups

£50 p.p.

Canyon with Zip Line

Option 2

The Canyon zip line is a great adventure in the heart of Snowdonia. Included is the zip line all with a private instructor.

Canyoning & Rock Climbing

Option 3

If you book this activity deal the Rock climbing becomes less than half price.

Canyon Extreme: is a great adventure down one of the best Canyons in Snowdonia all with a private instructor. The rock climbing session is after a quick lunch break so maybe bring some food and drink with you.

Climbing: can be a 15 - 25 minute drive from the Canyon location.

Start times: 10.00am.

Time: 6 - 7 Hours depending on group size and ability.

Age: 10 +

We do private or mixed groups -

For private groups your group will have an Instructor to yourself. For mixed groups you will be mixed in with other people on your activity session.

Cost - Private Groups

1 - 3 People £300 total.

4 people+ £80 p.p

North Wales Active - Canyoning Information

This Canyon has different elements and challenges which range in difficulty but not essential to do to complete the canyon. Jumps range from 2ft-30ft so start off low and build up to a level that suits you.

North Wales canyoning has become hugely popular over the last few years due to the accessibility of the gorges & canyons and the fact that it's an all weather and all year round activity.

North Wales Active only use experienced & qualified instructors who know and work in these gorges/canyons all year round.

Age Restrictions

Is 10+ However if the instructor feels the weather is unsuitable or a child is unable then the activity may be slightly altered.

Fitness

You dont have to be super fit but some fitness is needed to complete the canyon. Being able to swim 15 metres is essential.

There are no changing facilities at any of our adventure locations.

Wetsuit
Bouyancy aid

Please bring - Essential

Sturdy trainers/walking boots to get wet in (no beach shoes)
Swim costume
Towel
Shorts for over your wetsuit
Socks are optional

We have great ratios of 1 instructor to 10 people for this Canyon.

This is important as you will recieve more attention for safety and a quality experience from our instructors.
