North Wales Active - Canyoning Information

This Canyon has different elements and challenges which range in difficulty but not essential to do to complete the canyon. Jumps range from waterlevel - 30ft so start off low and build up to a level that suits you.

North Wales canyoning has become hugely popular over the last few years due to the accessibility of the gorges & canyons and the fact that it's an all weather and all year round activity. 

North Wales Active only use experienced & qualified instructors who know and work in these gorges/canyons all year round.

Age Restrictions

Is 10+ However if the instructor feels the weather is unsuitable or a child is unable then the activity may be slightly altered.

Fitness

You dont have to be super fit but some fitness is needed to complete the canyon. Being able to swim 15 metres is essential. If anyone intending to book has any additional needs please speak to us prior to coming.

kit & clothing

There are no changing facilities at any of our adventure locations.

Please bring - Essential

• Sturdy trainers/walking boots to get wet in (no slip on beach shoes)
• Swim costume
• Towel
• Shorts for over your wetsuit
• Socks are optional
